Terms of Service

Last updated: July 1, 2026 · Operator: Fast Pixel Tools ("we", "us") · Contact: our contact form

These Terms govern the AE2CSS Exporter After Effects extension and the website at https://ae2css.com (the "Service"). By creating an account, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AE2CSS Exporter analyzes Adobe After Effects compositions and exports HTML/CSS animation code. It requires Adobe After Effects (which you license separately from Adobe; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Adobe). The Service includes a cloud account, licensing, and — for paid plans — subscription billing.

2. Accounts

You sign in with an email magic link or Google sign-in. You are responsible for the email account you use and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information. One account is for your individual use unless you are on a plan that explicitly grants multiple seats.

3. Plans, quotas, and entitlement

  • Free — full features with a limited number of exports per rolling 7-day period (currently 3 exports per week). Analyze and in-app preview are unlimited. Quotas may change with notice.
  • Pro — paid monthly subscription; unlimited exports for one user.
  • Enterprise — custom terms agreed in a separate order/agreement, which prevails over these Terms where it conflicts.

Entitlement is verified online (with an offline grace period). We may suspend or revoke access for breach of these Terms, abuse, chargeback/fraud, or non-payment. Output quality does not differ between tiers.

4. Payment and renewal (paid plans)

  • Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing you also agree to Stripe's terms. We do not store your full card details.
  • Paid plans auto-renew each billing period until cancelled. The price in effect is shown at checkout.
  • You can cancel any time from your account / the Stripe customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
  • Taxes (VAT/sales tax) may be added where applicable.

5. Your content and license to outputs

Your After Effects projects and the HTML/CSS the Service generates from them are yours. We claim no ownership of your compositions or exported code. You are responsible for having the rights to the assets you process. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

6. Acceptable use

Do not: reverse-engineer or circumvent the licensing/quota system; resell or redistribute the Service itself; share a single-seat account across multiple people; create multiple accounts to evade quotas; use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights.

7. Alpha status

The Service is offered as an alpha. It is provided "as is", may change, break, or be discontinued, and may contain bugs. Don't rely on it as your sole tool for critical deadlines without verifying outputs.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, its software, branding, and website are owned by us and protected by law. These Terms grant no rights to our trademarks.

9. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that exported code is error-free or fit for any particular site.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 3 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR USD 50. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced (e.g. by email or on the site). Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach or as required by law. Sections that by nature should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability) survive termination.

13. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. If you are a consumer in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
